CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) — There are big plans to fly West Virginia International Yeager Airport into the next decade.
On Tuesday, airport officials held an open house for the public, showcasing their plans for a major renovation.
The multimillion-dollar project will give much of the terminal a whole new look — including a brand-new front entrance, brighter rooms and more space. All to ensure its visitors travel in comfort.
Work will be focused on pre-security areas only, and daily flight operations are not expected to be impacted.
The project is scheduled to last 470 days and will start within the next three weeks.
