BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) – The City of Minot announced that 16th Street, from Burdick Expressway to 16th Avenue SW, will fully reopen to traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
With the reopening, the temporary neighborhood connection between 14th Avenue SW/Cook Drive and 18th Street has been permanently removed. Residents will once again be able to access their properties directly from 16th Street.

A temporary traffic signal at 16th Street and 11th Avenue SW will remain in place until permanent signals and street lighting are installed in November. Brief, intermittent lane closures may occur during the installation period.
Drivers are urged to stay alert, reduce speed, and use caution while traveling through the area, as crews continue final work along the corridor.
