Former NFL QB Mark Sanchez hospitalized in Indianapolis – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — FOX Sports analyst and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was “injured in Indianapolis on Saturday,” FOX Sports PR said in a statement.

The network says Sanchez, 38, is stable at a hospital.

Sanchez is a color commentator for FOX Sports’ NFL coverage and is in town for Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders.

“We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family’s privacy during this time,” FOX Sports said in a statement posted on social media.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department did not confirm ESPN and TMZ reports that Sanchez was stabbed during an altercation that took place early Saturday morning near several downtown hotels.
