JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Sanderson Farms Championship will return to the Country Club of Jackson this week. Some of the top golfers in the world will compete in the championship.
Steve Jent, executive director of the Sanderson Farms Championship, said the economic impact from the tournament goes beyond this week. He said the economic impact is felt throughout the year in the Jackson area. Vendors set up months in advance, in addition to players and caddies coming to the capital city early.
2025 Sanderson Farms Championship tickets now available
“We figured that out of all the hotel rooms and shopping and dining and everything that everybody brings this week, along with full time jobs throughout the year, we estimate there’s about a $30 million economic impact that takes place, not only just this one week, but really throughout the whole year,” said Jent.
Tickets are available for the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship. Mobile tickets are available via the ticket link at the Sanderson Farms Championship website.
Fans are invited to attend the Lyle Machinery Pro-Am on Wednesday, October 1. The event is open to the public at no cost, with a mobile ticket required.
