Sadyr Japarov attends General Debate of 80th UN General Assembly session

AKIPRESS.COM – President Sadyr Japarov participated in the opening of the General Debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 23.

Before the debate, UN Secretary-General António Guterres officially greeted the head of state.

The heads of state and delegations from 195 countries are taking part in the opening of the debates, the president’s press service said.

The anniversary session of the UN General Assembly was opened under the slogan “Better to act together.” This milestone period marks a joint effort to strengthen international peace, sustainable development, and human rights.

President Sadyr Japarov is scheduled to speak on the first day of the debates. His speech is expected to take place on the night of September 24, at approximately 02:00-03:00 Bishkek time.
