Associated Brands Industries Limited has confirmed the death of one of its employees, Lionel Reis, following a tragic incident at a Finished Goods Warehouse in San Juan on Saturday evening.

In a statement, the company said Mr. Reis was a long-serving and highly valued member of their team, describing his passing as a profound loss to the organisation.

ABIL extended condolences to his family, loved ones, and colleagues, and said it will provide support to employees affected by the tragedy.

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and the Occupational Safety and Health Authority have been notified, and investigations are underway.

The company said it is cooperating fully and will share updates, while respecting the privacy of Mr. Reis’ family.

Counselling services will also be made available to staff in the coming days.
