National Development Agency follows up on vital strategic projects in Sebha

The Director of the Strategic Projects Department, Kamal Suleiman, accompanied by the department’s technical committee, visited the city of Sabha to follow up on the progress of work on strategic projects. These include the Batal al-Obour Bridge construction project, the construction of the passenger terminal and runway maintenance at Sabha International Airport, the construction of Sabha International Stadium, the construction of the Al-Musheer Mosque, in addition to a number of road projects.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the implementing companies to assess the projects’ completion rates, discuss the main obstacles facing implementation and ways to address them, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality of execution.

The Director of the Strategic Projects Department stressed that these projects are of great importance to southern Libya, emphasizing the commitment of the National Development Agency to continuously monitor them and work towards their completion in line with the agency’s vision to support the development process and achieve balance among the different cities and regions in Libya.
