Prayagraj: A three-day international conference on next-generation networks and deployable artificial intelligence (NGNDAI-2025), organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, was inaugurated on Thursday. Academic leaders and industry experts from across the nation as well as world attended the conference.The technical sessions focused on the emerging technologies in Artificial Intelligence (AI), intelligent networks, and the future of communication systems.The first day of the conference featured an inaugural talk by Aditya Nigam from IIT Mandi, who discussed ‘foundational models in deep learning: efficient adaptation at scale’ followed by an insightful keynote by prof Girija Chetty on ‘Multimodal Generative AI: Opportunities and Challenges.’The day concluded with a cultural performance titled ‘Ganga-Avtaran’, presented by the Arambh Rangmandal dance group, led by Ritika Awasthi.Over 30 research papers were presented during six technical sessions. tnn
