LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian was taken to a hospital after they were hit by a vehicle in the early morning hours in the southeast Las Vegas valley.
On Thursday, Sept. 18, at around 5 a.m., the Henderson Police Department responded to a crash near Boulder Highway and Skyforest Drive.
Police said the crash involved a pedestrian and a vehicle.
Medical personnel took the pedestrian to a local hospital with injuries. Police did not specify what injuries the pedestrian had.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperating with the investigation, according to a release from police.
Police said northbound Boulder Highway was closed from Galleria Drive.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
