MP proposes to revise operation of presidential scholarship
AKIPRESS.COM – MP Tabyldy Muratbekov proposed revising the process for awarding the El Umutu presidential scholarship at a session of the Parliament on September 17.
He stated that there is no precise information on how many master’s students have gone abroad, how many have returned, and how many are working in the country.
“I would like to propose revising the operation of this scholarship,” he noted.
Muratbekov added that some candidates are not included in the program. For example, a student was admitted to Harvard but was not included in the scholarship list.
