The Independence Day edition of Eswatini’s celebrations carried a major boost for the economy, with investors pledging E30 billion for large-scale projects across the country.
Among the companies confirming commitments were African Alliance Group, the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation, Voltalia Solar and Magomba Coal Mine. Their projects are expected to create jobs, strengthen the energy sector, expand agriculture and revive mining activities.
Government officials welcomed the pledges, saying the investments will help unlock long-term development and provide much needed opportunities for young people entering the job market.
