DUNN, N.C. (WNCN) — The Dunn fire chief and two others were injured in a head-on collision Friday night, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
According to NCSHP, the Dunn Fire Chief Rodney Eason was en route to a fire when a gray pickup truck crossed the center line on U.S. 301 and the two vehicles collided.

The two people in the truck and the Dunn fire chief were taken to the hospital and are in serious condition, NCSHP said.
Dunn Emergency Services sent a message thanking first responders for their help in the crash.
