Tomasz Froelich sounds the alarm: Germany is collapsing due to migration

German AfD MEP, Tomasz Froelich, a Pole by origin, sharply criticizes Germany’s migration policy and the stance of the CDU in an interview with TV Republika. He emphasizes that the party’s conservative voters “suffer from Stockholm syndrome”, and that the country is heading towards a crisis due to mass migration and the outflow of skilled workers.

Tomasz Froelich, MEP of Alternative for Germany (AfD) with Polish roots, does not spare harsh words against Germany’s ruling CDU and its current migration policy in an interview with TV Republika. According to him, the party, which for years was regarded as a bastion of conservatism, has betrayed its values and is leading the country into crisis.

“Conservative voters who still support the CDU suffer from what is known as Stockholm syndrome. Under Angela Merkel’s leadership, the party opened Europe’s doors to mass migration, and its current leader – Friedrich Merz – is continuing this policy,” Froelich said.

The MEP stresses that the current migration policy is ineffective:

“What difference does it make that Merz’s government deported 81 Afghans if, shortly after, it accepts a few thousand Afghans from Pakistan?” According to Froelich, Germany is grappling with growing public discontent.

“As many as 75% of Germans demand limits on migration, and 69% support halting asylum applications in Germany,” he cites data, pointing to the gap between society’s expectations and the government’s actions.

The MEP also raises the alarm about a growing trend of emigration among young Germans.

“Because of the disastrous situation Germany finds itself in due to its migration policy, more and more young people (around 50–60%) are considering moving abroad,” he says.

He adds that the outflow of skilled workers deepens the labor market crisis:

“Emigration of people with higher education is increasing, which in turn contributes to the decline in the number of qualified workers in the country.”

Froelich also criticizes left-wing parties, which in his view exploit this problem to justify further migration. “Left-wing parties use this as an argument to accept even more migrants to ‘fill’ this gap, which ultimately leads to a vicious cycle,” he observes.

The MEP warns that if the CDU does not change its policy and continues to act against the AfD, “nothing will change in this matter.” He predicts that the party “will continue to be steered by left-wing groups, which will ultimately lead to its collapse.” Froelich sees the current situation as a symptom of a deeper crisis not only in Germany, but in the entire European Union (EU), which – as he claims – is heading in a dangerous direction under the “noble” auspices of the Brussels elites.
