Nauru Airlines has announced it will start a direct service between Nauru and Nausori from August 28.

The airline said in a statement this was part of a network expansion program.

The new Nauru-Nausori flight will be addition to the Nauru-Nadi weekly services already in place.

“Suva is a strategically important market, adding a second gateway to our Fiji operations will allow us to enhance regional connectivity and offer even greater passenger, ACMI and cargo opportunities to our customers,” said Robert Eoe, CEO of Nauru Airlines.

The Nauru-Nausori flight operate on Thursdays, departing Nauru as 20:45pm as Flight ON019. It will arrive at Nausori 12:15am Friday. The return flight will take off as Flight ON)20 at 1:15am Friday arriving in Nauru at 4:50am
