Harris leads FCA to 2-0 road win at Muhlenberg

Foundation Christian Academy freshman Gavin Harris scored a goal and added an assist to lead the visiting Falcons to a 2-0 boys’ soccer win against Muhlenberg County on Monday.
John Lennox Wesley scored a goal and Logan Nix tallied an assist for the win.
Goalkeeper Ethan Rubel tallied eight saves to record the shutout for FCA (2-1), which is back in action Friday at Francis Parker.
Franklin-Simpson 9, ACS 0
Brody McAlister scored five goals and notched an assist to pace visiting Franklin-Simpson to a 9-0 win against Allen County-Scottsville.
Oscar Lopez added two goals and two assists for the Wildcats. Johan Mejia Garcia finished with a goal and two assists, Will Speed scored a goal, Andy Garcia tallied two assists, and Charles Davis and Logan Hernandez each added an assist.
Goalkeeper Keeton Marlin had one save to preserve the shutout for Franklin-Simpson (3-1-1). The Wildcats were set to host District 13 rival Russellville on Tuesday.
ACS (1-2) is at Logan County on Thursday.
Girls’ soccer
Barren County 3, Warren East 1
Haley Mutter scored two goals and added an assist to pace homestanding Barren County to a 3-1 win against District 15 foe Warren East on Monday.
Shelby Byrd added a goal and an assist for the Trojanettes.
Goalkeeper Emma Powell finished with 25 saves for Barren County (1-2 overall, 1-0 District 15), which hosts LaRue County on Thursday.
Zoe Witherspoon scored a goal off an assist from Dayeli Mendez for Warren East (1-3, 0-2). The Lady Raiders are at Owensboro on Thursday.
Glasgow 8, Monroe County 0
Maria Ramos scored three goals and notched a pair of assists to lead host Glasgow to an 8-0 win against Monroe County on Monday.
Madeline Neuhaus added a pair of goals for the Lady Scotties. Aniston Young finished with a goal and two assists, Amy Gomez scored a goal, and Audrey Burchett and Danica Stephens each chipped in with an assist.
Goalkeepers Avery Elmore (five saves) and Ladeja Driver (two saves) combined on the shutout for Glasgow (4-0), which hosts District 15 rival Allen County-Scottsville on Thursday.
Greenwood 21, Warren Central 0
Caroline Drexel scored six goals and tallied a pair of assists to pace host Greenwood to a 21-0 win against District 14 foe Warren Central on Monday.
Karson Lee and Kimber Jarboe also had hat tricks with three goals each, Briley Cannon tallied two goals and two asissts, Karson Elder scored two goals, Kenli Elder and Lily Padgett each had a goal and an assist, Clara Willis and Avery Kimbler each scored a goal, Lily Rodrigue finished with a goal and an assist, and Ashlyn Warfel also had an assist for the Lady Gators.
Goalkeeper Laney Lockhart made one save to record the shutout for Greenwood (2-2, 1-0), which visits district rival South Warren on Thursday.
Warren Central (0-2, 0-2) takes on Collins in the Etown Varsity Soccer Cup on Saturday.

Kaitlyn Duncan tallied 10 kills and a pair of blocks to spark host Allen County-Scottsville to a 2-0 (25-16, 25-17) season-opening win against Clinton County on Monday.
Nellie Saylors and Faith Schaberg added three kills each, Georgie Tabor had 12 assists and five digs, Claire Clay tallied 13 digs and Danica Harmon had six digs and nine kills for the Lady Patriots.
ACS (1-0) was set to visit Franklin-Simpson on Tuesday.
Barren County 2, Caverna 0
Ann Asley Atkinson finished with six kills, two blocks and three aces to spark visiting Barren County to a 2-0 season-opening win against Caverna on Monday.
Hannah Bragg had six kills and two blocks, Savanah Murrell tallied 16 assists, four digs and eight aces, and Josey Moore added four digs for the Trojanettes.
Barren County (1-0) was set to host Monroe County on Tuesday.
