A fixture in Arkansas’ live music scene, Jacob Flores is an award-winning one-man band and former “American Idol” contestant known for his innovative live looping, energetic performances and one-of-a-kind blend of American and Latin-American musical styles. Seeing Flores perform live is an unpredictable, genre-blending experience that keeps audiences guessing. He redefines what it means to be a musician in Arkansas — genreless, fearless and unforgettable.
A Hot Springs native and fan favorite, Flores has been voted the Sentinel-Record’s Reader’s Choice “Best Local Performer” seven years running (2019–2025) and was named one of AY About You’s “Best of Arkansas Musicians” two years in a row (2024–2025).
Rooted in a rich musical heritage thanks to his family’s mariachi band, Flores began performing as a child and rose to local fame after winning Henderson State University’s “Henderson Idol” in 2013. He went on to release two studio albums, “No Borders” (2015) and “Cupid” (2021), with a third currently in the works.

Flores performs regularly throughout the state, including weekly shows in Hot Springs and a recurring “Flores Friday” feature on THV11’s The Vine morning show. Beyond the stage, he serves on the boards of the Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, National Park College and the Hot Springs Public Schools Education Foundation. He also frequently performs in local schools and senior living facilities, using music to uplift and connect with all generations.
“Now more than ever, we need unity, kindness and compassion for one another,” Flores said. “I take pride in using music to bring people together. It’s something we all understand — something we can all feel. Music transcends background and belief. It’s a shared language that invites everyone in. Why not start there?”
With a blend of unmatched musical versatility, entrepreneurial drive and a deep passion for connecting people through the power of music, Jacob Flores continues to inspire through his performances, community involvement and unwavering dedication to his craft.
