CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — Two interstates in Orange County reopened after a crash Friday afternoon, the North Carolina Department of Transportation said.
According to NCDOT, the crash happened on Interstate 85 north and Interstate 40 east around 1:30 p.m. near US-70 and Chapel Hill at mile marker 161.

The crash caused all four lanes on both interstates to close past exit 161 to US-70, according to NCDOT.
NCDOT said the road reopened at around 2:30 p.m.

A medical helicopter, among other emergency personnel, responded to the scene.
