Construction of medical center for 300 million soms kicks off in Kara-Suu district
AKIPRESS.COM – Construction of a new building of the Salamat medical center began in Datka rural municipality of Kara-Suu district of Osh region on August 12.
The capsule laying ceremony was attended by Governor of Osh region Elchibek Jantaev, head of Kara-Suu district Kanat Tabaldiev, head of Datka rural municipality Zalkar Karimov, and medical workers.
It is planned to build a five-story medical center with 70 beds. It will have an operating unit, a rehabilitation center, and a conference hall. After the project is completed, 100 new jobs will be created.
The total estimated cost of construction is 300 million soms. Once the building is put into operation, almost 450,000 residents of the region will be able to receive services at the medical center.
