The Jayprithvi Highway has been obstructed due to a landslip triggered by incessant rainfall. Debris deposited on the road has disrupted vehicular movement since early this morning.

According to Balram Pandeya, Spokesperson at the District Police Office, the highway was blocked by a landslip that occurred at Ramilapur in Sigas Rural Municipality-9.

Passengers have been left stranded due to the traffic disruption.

However, efforts are underway to clear the debris and reopen the busy highway in Sudurpaschim Province, police added.
