July data shows centrists reward policy results but are quick to withdraw party support after missteps
Two months into President Lee Jae-myung’s term, South Korea’s centrist voters continue to approve many of his policies but do not appear committed to long-term support for him or his party.
Recent polling by Gallup Korea, Realmeter, National Barometer Survey (NBS) and Jowon C&I indicate that this approval is conditional, issue-specific and susceptible to reversal.
