EVERETT — A fatal crash involving two vehicles and a motorcycle shut down both directions of Evergreen Way on Thursday afternoon.

Around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Everett Fire and police responded to reports of a collision involving two vehicles and a motorcycle in the 10300 block of Evergreen Way.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was ejected from his bike. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Everett police spokesperson Natalie Given.

One of the vehicles involved was a truck towing a boat trailer. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The other vehicle, a hatchback, was driven by a man who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

All lanes on Evergreen Way remained closed for hours while the Everett Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit investigated the collision. The road reopened about 3:40 p.m.

No further details were immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
