President Droupadi Murmu is arriving in Uttarakhand on Sunday, November 02 for a three-day visit. She will participate in various programs in Haridwar, Dehradun, and Nainital. On Sunday, the President will attend the convocation ceremony of Patanjali University in Haridwar. She will return to Dehradun in the evening. On Monday, November 3, the President will address a special session of the Legislative Assembly.
The two-day Legislative Assembly session is being organized as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the state’s establishment. After addressing the session, the President will leave for Nainital. On Tuesday, she will attend the convocation ceremony of Kumaun University. Tight security arrangements have been made for the President’s visit from Jolly Grant Airport to Haridwar, Dehradun, and Nainital.
