LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A semitrailer caught fire Wednesday afternoon at a salvage yard near downtown Lincoln.

The fire was reported around 1:35 p.m. at North Second and Q streets near the People’s City Mission.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene said several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews put out a semitrailer fire.

The semitrailer was severely burned.  It’s unknown what caused the fire or if there were any injuries.
